Oakland Lit facilitates the discussion of literature and the ideas that shape it. As an independent book club based in Oakland, California, Oakland Lit is politically independent and welcomes a wide range of authors and perspectives.

Join Oakland Lit for an in-person celebration of David Foster Wallace’s Infinite Jest. This is a small crowdfunded salon featuring a live discussion from New York with the author's editor.

The Agenda:

4:00 pm: Hellos and Human Connection.
4:30 pm: NYC Livestream: Discussion with DFW’s editor.
5:30 pm: In-person Salon Discussion.
